connecting to nature, together — that the real magic happens. So, do I care
about taking stunning photos of your elopement or adventure wedding?
Hell yes. But, more importantly, I care about creating an environment for you
and your partner to have that next-level connection with each other, in one of your favorite PNW places. If I can do that, gorgeous photos will come easily.

Once upon a time, there was a little kid in Idaho who borrowed her mom’s film
camera to take pictures of plants and her dogs. When she grew up, she moved to the
forests of Washington to study photography and dreamt of being a National
Geographic photojournalist. She sought adventure everywhere she could: by
working in event coordination, doing project management for tech companies,
and even moving to Thailand. But, after searching far and wide, she found her
biggest adventure at home in Oregon: pursuing her photography dreams full-time
in the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest.
I know you’ll be shocked (/s) that the kid in this story is me. I started Venture
Ever After as a side gig in 2010, and in 2020 I quit my tech job to devote myself to entrepreneurship full-time. My love for this work has only grown deeper over the years, and I'm grateful everyday that I get to call this my job. Devoting my life and career to something that allows me to use art as a means for both celebrating human connection and documenting, protecting, and adventuring in nature - this really is my dream!
When I'm not planning or photographing elopements and weddings, I'm hanging out with my partner, our two dogs, and our cat; hiking and/or running long distances; traveling around the world; practicing my home barista skills; or relaxing with a tasty beverage while doing my nails.

Cassidy is based in Washington and officially joined the Venture Ever After Team as an associate in 2023, after working closely with me (Nadia) as a second photographer for several years prior. She's also a dear friend, and when folks have Cassidy as their photographer for the day, they get the benefit of our full team: Nadia as planning assistance and editor, and Cassidy as lead photographer.
More about Cassidy in her own words: Photography has been a driving force in my life for as long as I can remember. From a young age I would document my family with my dad's film camera, and eventually I got my BFA in photography. I've always enjoyed capturing the moments - big and small - that make up an experience. At my core, I'm an adventurer with a camera-shaped companion to help me save memories worth reliving and sharing. That's why I can't get enough of weddings: They're a celebration of life. Photographing weddings is my way of preserving the things that matter most during our time on Earth.
Aside from photography, I love travel, good food, quality time with friends, and ridiculously long hiking trips. I also always want to talk about my cats, so feel free to ask about them.

Her photography style is grounded, emotionally rich, and documentary in nature. We didn’t want anything overly staged or stiff. We wanted to feel like ourselves, to laugh, explore, and be present. Nadia created the space for exactly that.
Both my husband and I are naturally shy and not super comfortable being the center of attention, so having a photographer we could genuinely relax around was incredibly important. From our very first conversation, Nadia felt like a calming, supportive guide, down-to-earth, thoughtful, and completely attuned to our energy. She didn’t just capture the events of the day, she told our story.
