When Clarissa and I first talked it was an instant and easy connection. She and Barry originally planned to have their wedding on Halloween 2020, under the full moon, and so we geeked out about everything fall and Halloween for most of our initial phone call. When they had to change their date (multiple times) for reasons completely out of their control (hello COVID, weather, and Oregon wildfires), Clarissa remained upbeat and excited about keeping with their fall theme. And I was all about it!
Clarissa said multiple times “I will not be out-‘fall’ed for my wedding!” and she definitely made it happen. So much of the day was DIY, but you’d never know it. Everything looked professional, well thought out, and most importantly, overflowing with cozy autumn vibes. Family and friends pulled out all the stops to help make Clarissa and Barry’s wedding day exactly what they dreamt of. When you view the photos, keep in mind that all those florals, the altar and ceremony site, the food, literally everything was put together by family and friends.
And yes, there were goats! Plus, a genuine candlelit dinner, gothic style dress, charcuterie and wine, and a beautiful fall sunset. How could this day have gotten any better? I submit that it could not!
